FAQ’s

About the Artwork

What medium do you use for your original paintings?
All of Trish’s original works are created using artist quality oil paints on oil-primed Belgian Linen, a surface prized for its durability and ability to enhance the richness of oil paints. The high-quality weave of Belgian linen provides an excellent foundation for oil paintings, allowing them to last for generations while preserving color vibrancy and detail.

Are your original paintings framed?
No, Trish’s original paintings are generally not framed when sold. However, for collectors interested in framing options, she recommends minimalist, high-end frames in natural wood or metallic finishes that complement the painting without overshadowing its elegance. Professional framing services can enhance the longevity and presentation of the artwork, adding a final touch of refinement to your collection.

Limited and Open Edition Prints

What’s the difference between a limited edition print and an open edition print?
Limited edition prints are exclusive, meaning only a fixed number of prints are produced for each artwork. Once these are sold, no more will be made. Open edition prints are not limited in number, providing an accessible option for art lovers. Limited edition prints also often come with a certificate of authenticity, adding to their value and exclusivity.

How many prints are in each limited edition?
The number of prints in each limited edition varies depending on the artwork. Each print is individually numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, ensuring its uniqueness.

Are limited edition prints signed?
Yes, all limited edition prints are signed and numbered by Trish and come with a certificate of authenticity, ensuring that each piece is a genuine work of art.

What material and printing process do you use for prints?
Trish uses archival-quality fine art paper and archival inks, printed using the giclée process - the highest standard in fine art printing. This method ensures that the prints are of museum quality, maintaining their vibrancy and beauty for decades.

Returns and Care

What is your return policy?
We do not accept returns on original paintings or prints unless they arrive damaged or faulty. Please contact us immediately if there is an issue with your order, and we will work with you to resolve it.

How should I care for my painting or print?
To ensure the longevity of your artwork:

  • Keep prints and paintings out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.

  • Handle prints carefully, ideally wearing gloves to avoid oils from your skin transferring to the paper.

  • Frame your artwork using UV-protective glass or acrylic to safeguard against light and dust.

  • Maintain a stable environment with moderate humidity levels to prevent warping or deterioration over time.
